A majority of people who start are JUST LIKE YOU. We are amazing with beginners. We keep you safe and show you the ropes, one step at a time.
Voodoo was nominated for a Global Award for Member Retention. We don’t do term contracts. This means, if you love it, see results, benefit from our years of coaching- You’ll stay. We exceed the standard by roughly three times the industry standard because we smash these metrics.
We are old school CrossFit. We are by the book when it comes to methodology and proudly stand by the definitive word of CrossFit. Over the years we’ve done it all, and there is nothing better than the real thing. If a Headquarters person dropped into Austin and popped in Voodoo, they would say: YOU GUYS DO IT RIGHT, HERE.
The owners: Scott and Ash. Scott has numerous comps under his belt and a host of certifications from CrossFit. Ashley is a solid competitor and at 125 pound bodyweight walked into a Powerlifting Comp as a CrossFitter and set a current World Record on Deadlift and Total. She set a state record on Bench and Squat, missing the Squat World record by 6 pounds. As for the rest of the other 10 coaches, they each have certs and backgrounds that are only eclipsed by their amazing journeys and personalities when it comes to helping you do the thing.
The only unsafe thing about doing CrossFit- is not doing CrossFit. We are here to make you healthy, stay off meds, and thrive. Our coaches have safety at the number 1 priority because we want you to be a lifetime member. That’s not going to come from you getting injured.
We get to know the way you walk, what makes you giggle, what workouts you need a pep talk for. We will probably meet your parents, celebrate your birthdays, know your kid’s names. We may show up to your graduation, sporting events, on and on.
